After an extra half hour detour around Welshpool due to an accident I finally arrived at Borth. Initially rigged 5m with Al and on the first run it felt way overpowered. Wanting to give my 4.2 a try I rigged that and promptly sank. Walked back and rigged the 5.0 with mucho extra downhaul. It felt much better but I started to struggle with all the white water. These kind of days are there to test you. Anyway my last run made up for all the fustration with a near full rotation on a semi committed backloop attempt. To top it all Al was witness to it as well. Packed up and headed straight to the office to finish some work so I did not feel too guilty.
